Annual Salary: Pay Band 3 $28,145.30-$34,651.03
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY: Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing administrative support to the Aboriginal Rights and Research Office as well as maintaining organized databases, historical files and program records.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Administrative Assistant diploma or certification with at least three years’ work experience in a related field with Records Management Training or similar professional development certification.
The incumbent must have experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office and File-Maker Pro. The incumbent must be knowledgeable of the Mohawk Government system and the history of the Community of Akwesasne. The incumbent must be able to work independently and meet established deadlines in timely manner. The incumbent should have excellent written and oral communication skills. The incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to use their personal vehicle during the course of employment.
