Annual Salary: Pay Band 7 - $41,956.77- $51,654.49

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Healthy Homes Initiative Construction Manager, the Certified Lead Carpenter is responsible to provide supervision, guidance, planning, support and limited administration to a group of apprentice carpenters performing carpentry in the repair of homes. The Certified Lead Carpenter will provide on the job training that will enable apprentice carpenters to obtain Certification.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Certification in General Carpentry e.g. Red Seal Endorsement and Ten (10) years experience in building construction or related field with minimum of three years supervisory experience. The incumbent must be knowledgeable of power tools, all proper safety standards and requirements. The Incumbent must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to use personal vehicle during the course of employment.
