Hourly Salary: Class # 1 - $37,461.39 - $49,348.96
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for operational tasks related to treatment and delivery of potable water for our community and treatment and discharge of wastewater for our environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent with one year operational experience in an Operator-in-Training in a Class 1 or higher Water/Wastewater facility. Certified in or able to achieve within a specified timeframe a Water and Wastewater Class 1 Operator license.
The incumbent must be capable of operating and maintaining the Water/Wastewater Treatment plants and infrastructures. Be knowledgeable of standard laboratory test methods for water treatment processes. The incumbent must be proficient in both basic math principles and computer programs such as Microsoft program. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to use personal vehicle during the course of employment.
