Annual Salary: Pay Band 8 $46,991.58 - $57,853.59
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Director of Justice, the incumbent is responsible for providing investigation, reports, and processing complaints by community members on Canada Border Service Agency issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post Secondary degree in Law and Security, with at least one year work experience in investigation and reporting of occurrences /files. (Peace or Police Officer, Social Worker or Legal Administrator etc.)
The ability to perform related duties, from intake of complaints from community members and investigate complaints in regard to CBSA. Must have the ability to document and provide detailed reports as required. Must adhere to the strict confidentiality of the organization.
The incumbent must work in close collaboration with the CBSA Liaison Officer, the MCA Justice Dept. and MCA Legal representatives. Incumbent should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have a valid drivers license, and be willing to use personal vehicle during course of employment.
