Joe LaBelle scored 19 points to lead the Massena Central varsity boys basketball team to a 73-49 NAC Interdivisional victory over St. Lawrence Central last Friday night at home.
Zack Rusaw fired through 12 points along with six blocked shots and three steals. Troy Myers generated 11 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals. Senior Zach Hopps tallied eight points, five boards, six assists and two steals. Rhoades Tarbell struck for six points and grabbed six rebounds. Xavier Viskovich added six points while George Sloan netted five points. The trio of Josh Miller, Zach Fregoe and Logan Norris each contributed two points.
Larrie Zane Ramsdell led all the scorers with 25 points and 12 rebounds while Nate Cole fashioned 11 points. Regan Dunbar added six points and Josh White chipped in three.
Massena (8-3, 2-1) has won nine of its last 12 games while St. Lawrence slips to 5-5 overall.
