The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Justice Department and Community Advocate Ernest King are advising community members that there has been a sudden increase in vehicles being seized at the CBSA Port of Entry in Cornwall for failure to report.   CBSA has reportedly not been accepting any reasonable explanation for delays in reporting and zero tolerance is being practiced for vehicle seizures.   Community members are being cautioned of the increase and should be prepared for a vehicle seizure should they fail to report directly to Cornwall.
