Niawen

Niawen kowa,

I would just like to send a great big Niawen kowa/thank you to all of our local emergency response teams. The HAVFD, the St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police, the Mohawk Council Ambulance and the Fort Covington Fire and Rescue and to anyone else who may have responded to the scene of the car accident I was involved in. I am very grateful for their quick response time and their kind and compassionate care towards myself and my unborn child who is doing great. I’d also like to thank the state worker who came to check on me and see if I was ok. Of course to the members of my family who literally came running to be by my side, thank you too! Again, thank you to all of the wonderful men who took care of me, and I hope you all have safe and happy holidays.
