Cornwall Wildcats Bantam beat their opponents 42-15 to secure their Championship title

It was a great day to play football on Saturday and the Wildcats came to play. Led by stellar play from the offensive and defensive units, the Wildcats pounded the Bengals 42-15 winning a “B” Championship.
Quaid Johnson had a huge day through the air throwing 4 passing touchdowns. Shane Thompson took a screen pass 75-yards for a Rec touchdown, Chris Milward and Bailey Malyon both had 40-yard Rec touchdowns, and Pat Giroux finished with one Rec touchdown for 25-yards. On the ground, Dustin Stroud and Brad Wilson each added a Rushing touchdown.
As they say, Defense wins championships and the Wildcat D didn’t disappoint. Only allowing 15-points on the day, they also created numerous turnovers. Led by Travis Gaspe, Shakiym Hoyte, the defense played its part.
