Amber Lynn Aliff

HOGANSBURG – Ms. Amber Lynn Aliff, age 19, of 282 Helena Road, passed away early Wednesday morning at Massena Memorial Hospital, from injuries she suffered in a motor vehicle accident on the North Road in Hogansburg.

Amber was born on April 6, 1992 in Massena, the daughter of John Aliff and Laura Townsend. She attended Brewerton Elementary School, Fulton and Salmon River High Schools. Amber loved to draw, write in her journal, and compose poetry. She also had a love for dance.

Amber will be sadly missed by her mother and step-father, Laura and Matt Williams of Norwood; her father and his companion, John Aliff and Katrina Williams of Constantia; her maternal grandmother, Donna Jock and her husband, Nelson of Akwesasne; her maternal grandfather, Brian Townsend of Camillus; her paternal grandmother, Luella Castguay of Central Square; and her paternal grandfather, Willis Aliff, Sr and his wife, Nancy of Hastings. She will also be missed by her sister, Ivory Aliff of Mexico, NY; and her brother, Abram Aliff of Constantia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, 100 N. Main Street, Massena, where funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 AM with Rev. Lee Sweeney, officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.
