Morrisonville Native Hits BIG at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino

Akwesasne – An ordinary Sunday afternoon turned quickly into a day he will never forget for one lucky man at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino.  Edward Garrow, a Morrisonville native, pushed the play button and after a few hours of verification, became the lucky recipient of $129,697.46 on the Wheel of Fortune game.

“Oh wow – that’s a lot of money,” Garrow stated when casino and Wheel of Fortune representatives brought the big check to him for photos.  When asked what he will do with his new winnings, he joking said he might buy himself a six pack although claiming he never drank one in his 96 years!

Mr. Garrow owns an excavating company in the Plattsburgh area and frequently visits the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino with his family.  He currently has six children, seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and is excited to share his new found wealth with them.
