The Akwesasne Powwow Committee would like to express their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the 2011 Akwesasne International Powwow.  We were honoured with 226 registered dancers and 43 Tiny Tots, along with 5 drum groups.  The powwow would not be able to achieve this level of success if not for the participation and support of our local sponsors, corporate sponsors, loyal volunteers and the community who come out in great numbers to patronize our vendors and cheer on our dancers.  Niawen ko:wa to everyone who made it possible for visitors from near and far to be welcomed into our community to enjoy this cultural celebration.
