ROBBERY

Cornwall, ON- Michael Nogeeshik Isaac, 38 of Cornwall was arrested on the 13th of September, 2011. It is alleged that shortly prior to 4:00 a.m. on the 13th of September, 2011 he attended a 46 year-old acquaintance’s residence when an altercation occurred. As a result of the altercation, he assaulted the 46 year-old and stole a laptop. Police were contacted and an investigation followed.  He was charged with robbery and held in custody until court the following day.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON- Bonnie Thompson-Goulet, 39 and Jeffrey Goulet, 44 both of Cornwall were arrested on the 6th of September, 2011. It is alleged that on the 6th of September, 2011 members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Street Crime Unit conducted an investigation and found them in possession of a controlled substance. They were both charged with Possession Obtained by Crime, Possession of a controlled substance and Possession for the Purpose of trafficking. They were released to appear in court at a later date.

OUTSTANDING WARRANT

Cornwall, ON- Frank Kalvin Leaf, 28 of Akwesasne was arrested on the 13th of September 2011 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. He was bound by a Recognizance with the condition not to have direct or indirect contact with a certain person. It is alleged that on the 20th of April 2011, breached he Recognizance by having contact with a certain person and a warrant was sought. He was located and held in custody to await court on the following day.
