Meet the candidates

With the announcement last week of the official list of candidates from the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Election Board, Indian Time Newspaper took the opportunity to meet with each candidate and to ask a set of questions. No candidate was provided the list of questions prior to their interview. The following three individuals are running for Tribal Chief – Barbara Lazore, Ronald Lafrance Jr., and Cecil Garrow. The following three individuals are running for Tribal Sub-Chief – Gary Cole, Michael Conners Jr., and Jennifer Standing Arrow.

The date for the 2011 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Elections is this Saturday, June 4 from 9:00am until 5:00pm in the Tribal Community Building lobby.
