Belly Buttons visits Tsi Snaihne School

On Thursday, April 21 renowned clown/magician Belly Buttons visited the students of Tsi Snaihne School as part of an Easter celebration. Ms. Buttons wowed the students with her storytelling ability and magical powers. All of the children were eager to be her assistant for each magical act. After the show in the gymnasium, Belly Buttons visited each classroom to create balloon animals for the children.

This event took place thanks to Iakhihsohtha Activity Coordinator, Maureen

Benedict. She graciously treated the Tsi Snaihne student population to the clown show and a pizza lunch as a show of appreciation for the monthly student visits to the elders at Iakhihsohtha. Maureen brought a few of the elders to the school to enjoy the clown show along with the students. The ‘bridging generations’ program has been beneficial to everyone involved, young and old.
