Norwood Man wins Ski-doo at Mohawk Bingo Palace

A Norwood man was thrilled to be the lucky winner at the Mohawk Bingo Palace this past Monday night. Frank Phillips gasped “I can’t believe it! I just can’t believe I won!” Mr. Phillips was one of four participants to play a qualifying game sponsored by VGT in which contestants chose three small stuffed donkeys to reveal their cash prizes along with the opportunity to win the grand prize of a 2011 Tundra 550 Ski- Doo.

The four finalists chosen then were called back for the unveiling where Mr. Phillips was ultimately named the lucky winner. He and his wife love to visit the Mohawk Bingo Palace as much as they can. Frank’s wife Bobbi stated “the workers here are so friendly and we have luck here”. Mr. Phillips also believes in luck as both he and his wife have experienced recent winning streaks at the Mohawk Bingo Palace.

A special announcer also came to assist in the draw. Crazy Bill from VGT flew in from Tulsa, Oklahoma and kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening. When Crazy Bill asked about his win, Mr. Phillips stated, “My daughter is going to be so excited! She is twelve years old and she told me that if I had the chance at the ski-doo that I should pick number two – that’s just what I did!”

The sleek black and yellow snowmobile was also a perfect complement to his already black and yellow Ski-Doo jacket. Without hesitation, Mr. Phillips came into the front lobby, viewed his new toy and looked at his wife with a big smile and said “I knew we should’ve brought the truck!”
