Chad Bazin came to the Akwesasne Warriors late in the season. He is a defensemen who joined the Warriors at a time when the team was low on defensive players. The last team Bazin played for before coming to the Warriors was Utica College where he attended school. Bazin has played 15 regular season games with the Warriors and has 9 points.
Q. Who had the most impact on you as a young player growing up?
A. My Dad.
Q. Is there any player that you looked up to as a role model?
A. Growing up it would be Vladimir Konstantinov.
Q. What do you like to do away from the rink?
A. Gym, relax.
Q. What’s on your iPod?
A. Everything!
Q. Best memory in hockey?
A. Winning a state tournament.
Q. Worst memory in hockey?
A. Losing in the state semi major midget year.
Q. If you could play on line with any player in history, who would you chose?
A. Bobby Orr.
Q. Favorite rink?
A. Joe Louis arena.
Q. Favorite sport other than hockey?
A. Lacrosse.
Q. First team you played for as a kid?
A. Birmingham rangers.
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. Skating and vision on the ice.
Q. What do you have to try the hardest to improve?
A. Shooting.

A. Steak.

A. Yes, would love to become a coach someday.
