Roy Louis Martin

At his home with family at his side on Monday February 21, 2011 at the age of 64 years. Beloved husband of Naomi (White) Martin. Loving father of Leah Martin, Moses and Yvette White, Louis Martin and Victoria Smoke, and the late Clayton Martin. Dear grandfather of Clayton, Nicholas, Alexander, and Isabella. Son of the late Louis and Nancy (Swamp) Martin. Brother of Joyce and David Benedict, Elizabeth and Gary Perkins, Van and Debbie Martin, Diane and Ronald Garrow, Jean and Henry Laffin, Richard and Cindy Martin, and Robert Martin and Sylvia Bero. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Roy was a veteran, a member of the Iron Workers Local 736, Hamilton and also enjoyed building log homes and farming.

Resting at his home, 213 Tuscarora Road, Six Nations starting Tuesday, February 22, 2011 until funeral service and burial at the Onondaga Longhouse, Six Nations on Thursday February 24, 2011. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Akwesasne Freedom School.
