Elizabeth Louise Papineau

Elizabeth “Betty Boots” (Boots) Papineau, age 66, of 60 Philip Hopps Memorial Road, Cornwall Island, passed away on at her residence on Wednesday, December 22, 2010.

Beloved wife of the late Carl Papineau. Loving mother of Dean, Edward and Catherine Papineau (Chichi) all of Cornwall Island. Loving grandmother of Sakohawitsere George, Ranonkawaitsherihawi George, Shane Robert Papineau, Ryan Dean Papineau and Tekaritha Elizabeth Jamez George. Dear godmother of David Cree. Dear daughter of the late Micheal Boots and the late Agnes (Caldwell) Boots. Dear sister of Diane Connors (Louis) of Frogtown, Emily of Cornwall, Jake of Rhode Island, Yvonne, Anna, John (Harriet), Harvey (Patricia), Francis and Steven Boots all of Cornwall Island. Predeceased by six brothers Peter, Joe, Freddie, Archie, Angus Boots, James Seymour and two sisters Catherine (Lena) Day and Margaret Cree. Survived by daughter in law Lisa of Massachusetts. She was waked at the Kateri Hall, Hogansburg starting December 26, 2010 until a Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Regis Church on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, followed by Cremation.
