Salmon River and Potsdam face each other for Volleyball Championship

It was a disappointing loss for the Shamrock ladies in Volleyball action after they lost the first three sets to Potsdam at the Massena gymnasium. This class C championship took place on Friday October 29th in front of many fans and supporters of the 1st place ranked team, SRC. The scores were 25-22, 27-25, and 25-19. SRC was the top seed in Section 10 and was the favored team as far as knowing what their record and abilities were. The surprise loss to SR goes to show that you never know what can happen in the play-offs.

Each game was so exciting and many fans were on hand. For the Shamrocks, it was a very good season especially by being coached by Nicole and by earning that first place.

Players who contributed to the scores for the night were: Alicia Francis with 10 service points, three kills, and ywo assists. Joni Garrow had 8 service points along with two kills, while Kasennakohe David added 6 points on serves and 4 kills. Leslee Loran was so awesome at the net during all the games while she finished with 5 kills.

Congratulations to Potsdam. Salmon River had such a great season and was so much fun to watch. Thankyou to Coach Nicole for all the help all Volleyball season.
