The North Franklin Warriors 7 & 8 year old, soccer team is nearing the end of their season. It has been an exciting season with the team learning many new skills and getting lots of exercise. Their record currently stands at 4 wins, 5 losses and 1 tie. All of the players have improved greatly from the beginning of the season.
Goal scorers this year include Memphis Mitchell-8 goals, Shakaronhiakewen Jacobs-5 goals, Will Swamp-3 goals, Kyra Cree-2 goals, LX Herne -2 goals and Delanie Deshane with 1 goal. Assists went to: Yenastanunha Thompson, Millie King, Kenyon Bearshield, Brittany Pickering, Irlyne Tarbell, LX Herne and Kyra Cree. Goaltenders throughout the season included Kenyon Bearshield, Karakwas Mitchell, Brittany Pickering, Meadow Tarbell, Kyra Cree, Irelyn Tarbell, Shakaronhiakewen Jacobs, Will Swamp and Memphis Mitchell. All of the team members have made strong contributions on the pitch often playing the whole game without a sub.
