The Eagle pays up

Many people in the community were wondering why a huge sign was hung on the fence at the residence of the Comins’ in Akwesasne.

Here are the facts:

At last year’s NHL contest Donnie contacted CKON and made a bet with any Montreal Canadiens’ fan that his Boston Bruins would go further than the Canadiens. Larry took that bet and eventually lost. Donnie waited for Larry to pay up and waited and waited. Donnie took matters into his own hands and hung the sign “Where in the world is Larry the Eagle?”

On Saturday a small gathering of family and friends watched this historical (hysterical) moment as Larry donned Donnie’s beautiful Boston Bruin jersey and climbed onto the roof to payoff his debt!
