Salmon River and St. Regis Mohawk School compete in Class Olympics

Students from the St. Regis Mohawk School were transported to the Salmon River Central School Wednesday to compete with their fellow classmates against other grades. In the morning session, grades Pre-K through 2nd filled the high school gymnasium and made the walls shake with their screaming enthusiasm.

The four grades competed against each other and also against one staff team. Events included a hula-hoop race, basketball dribble, and three-legged race. Points were also awarded to the class (2nd grade) who screamed and cheered the loudest in a screaming contest to show school spirit.
