The Salmon River Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity news

The Lady Shamrocks Basketball Team played against Parishville on Monday February 7 at the SR gymnasium.  It was a special night for some special young ladies who are now getting ready to graduate this year from Salmon River.  Prior to their contest, they presented their parents with flowers and many thanks for their support throughout the years in school and sports programs.  It was such an emotional evening for many.  Both teams were victorious over Parishville, with the SR Varsity scoring 46-35.  Amber Debyah had a game high of 14 points, Karyss Terrance and Erica Francis both had 6 and Kaeli LaFrance had 6 for the night.

There will be one more game remaining for the girls regular season schedule. It is on Wednesday February 17th at home against Edwards Knox at 6pm.   The playoffs will start February 23rd and more information will be coming about that.  Good Luck to the girls on the rest of the season!! The seniors include: Lauren Cook, Olivia Cook,  Amber Debyah,  Ashley Martin,  Aubrey Phillips,  Jennifer Wood along with other team members; Erica Francis, Kaili LaFrance, Korinn Mainville, Anna Kelly, Karyss Terrance, Rebecca Newman and Krissy Tremblay.
