The boys on the Salmon River Central School’s Basketball team are a team on and off the court. This past Feb. 4, the team got together and held a spaghetti dinner fundraiser to help cover the cost of the team’s sneakers and warm-ups, a 2500.00 expense. Together they organized the fundraiser by helping with the cooking in the school’s cafeteria, putting the meals together and selling raffle tickets at the door. The team choose a spaghetti dinner because everybody has to eat so why not join the team for dinner at a 1 day event that would bring people into the school on a game night right before they faced off with the Chateaugay Bulldogs.
