Turner Thomas, team member of St. Lawrence Thunder, winners of the championships in Massachusetts.
Our hockey player, Turner Thomas, shared his experiences from a hockey tournament that he was involved in over the weekend on January 16 and 17th.
His team, St. Lawrence Thunder, competed against other various teams in Pittsfield, Mass.
On Friday, the Thunder played against the Berkshire Bruins and won that game 6-1. On Saturday, the team played the New England Rhinos with Thunder defeating them again with a score of 4-1. The Rhode Island Rams faced the Thunder this time and again won by a score of 8-0.
Turner made two goals in that game. Off to the championship game they went!
In the final game, they played the Berkshire Bruins and also won that match up in the tournament with a score of 2-0.
