Beedy and Barbara Gray would like to extend their thanks for all the help that this community gave in 2009 to help their son and brother John G. Gray.  It has really warmed our hearts to see those who were willing to donate so that fundraisers could be successfully held. Although the past year has been a tough one financially for many people and businesses, they still came through. We also thank those who came and participated in the fundraisers. John wants his friend Joe Herne, his cousins Philip Gray, Junior Gray, Leona Gray, his Aunt Dorothy, Jack Lazore, and Billy & Sharon Loran to know he is very thankful, as are we. To the businesses in Akwesasne and the community members who helped, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we wish you all a very prosperous and happy New Year. A special thank you to CKON who did a fantastic job announcing our fundraisers, and a sincere thank you to the Indian Time newspaper for placing our fundraisers in Akwesasne’s favorite paper. This past year has made us very proud to be members of this community.  NIAWEN KOWA
