A Voice from the Eastern Door
Dear Editor Burns:
This letter is a public thanks to the caring people who are making the C.A.T.S. spay/neuter program for Fort Covington and Hogansburg a success. The free cat surgeries could not succeed without the assistance o the Linder Veterinary Clinic in Massena and all the persons who put money in the C.A.T.S. cans at the following businesses displaying the cans:
Adirondack Auto Parts (Fort Covington)
AK Fuels (Hogansburg)
Bear’s Den (H)
Bill Cook’s Auto Repair (H)
Borderline (H)
Bruce Gardner’s Garage (FC)
Chiefs (H)
Community Bank (FC)
Eastern Door (H)
Fort’s Brickhouse Pizzeria (FC)Franklin County Credit Union (FC)
Hometown Auto (FC)
Jrecks Subs (H)
Kanienkehaka Fuels (H)
Leroux’s Quickstop (FC)
#9 Fuels (H)
Rita Ghostlaw, Hairdresser (FC)
Smith Lumber Company (FC)
Smokey’s (H)
Speedway (Subway) (H)
Swamp’s Plumbing (H)
Twin Leaf (H)
Western Door (H)
Wild Bill’s (H)
One of my hopes is that your readers will patronize and/or commend the businesses providing counter space for the C.A.T.S. spay/neuter cans.
Another hope is that each cat guardian in our two neighboring communities will take advantage of the C.A.T.S. free spay/neuter program to preclude the overabundance of unwanted cats here.
Cat guardians wishing to have their cats spayed or neutered should write to C.A.T.S., P.O. Box 12, Fort Covington, NY 12937, furnishing the name and telephone number (or mailing address) of the guardian.
