Drama Wrestling

“The Wrestling Season” came to Salmon River Central School for an hour-long presentation that the SUNY Potsdam Youth Touring Ensemble presented to students in grades 9-12 on November 30th. Using only a wrestling mat as a prop, eight students struggle with the powers of rumors and how others see them.  Salmon students were given time at the end to ask their own questions of the actors and actresses. Personal questions were asked of the actors and actresses afterwards with even more questions of their involvement in drama.  It was well received by the students and many asked for a sequel to be written in the future.  This was a free event offered to local schools in the North Country by the producer, Jay Pecora and his cast.
