2008-09: Bero’s speed and agility helped her make an immediate impact offensively in her rookie campaign. The Akwesasne, NY native put together a sound first year, leading all of the team’s recruits in goals (12), points (23) and power play goals (4).

PRE-ST. LAWRENCE

A First Team All-State and All-League selection from 2004-2008, Bero was the premier high school women’s hockey talent in the North Country. In 16 games last season with the Salmon River Shamrocks, the Akwesasne, NY native scored 38 goals and added 17 assists for a 55 point season. She is a three-time State and League Most Valuable Player, and played on the 2007 Canadian National Championship squad, Team Ontario Red. Alley, who was also selected for the United States’ Women’s U-18 team, was born June 4, 1990 and is the daughter of Dwight and Becky Bero.
