April 2009 Athlete of the Month – Boys Lacrosse
Dave White nominated Hank Delisle as SRCS Athlete of the Month for April 2009. In six lacrosse games, Hank has scored 17 goals and 9 assists for an average of 4.33 points per game. He is a hard working junior whose spirited play has helped to propel the Shamrocks to a yet unbeaten, untied record.
Hank has a knack for playing well in the big game combining his ability to finish a goal with an ability to set one up. He is a fine complement to the left side of the Shamrock offense, while his multiple talents have also seen him face off as well as step into the goal. His versatility and good nature make it a pleasure to coach him, and he works very well with his teammates where his positive approach is contagious.
This speedy, diminutive forward has potential to play Division I lacrosse provided he hits the weights and adds a little more muscle to his frame. He is a multi-sport athlete who has also donned the Shamrock jersey in ice hockey and soccer. Hank will continue his lacrosse season and be a large reason why the Shamrocks are successful. Congratulations.
