Valium possession arrest

Brittany L. Benedict, 26, of 396 St. Regis Road, Hogansburg, was arrested Sunday at the U.S. Port of Entry. According to police, Benedict was referred for a secondary inspection when entering the U.S. and a search allegedly uncovered a small amount of marijuana along with 16 Valium pills.

Benedict was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
