A Voice from the Eastern Door
The Akwesasne Skating Club is so proud to highlight this year’s scholarship recipients. These outstanding students and skaters will be honored at this year’s Ice Show, being held Sunday at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena. The Akwesasne Skating promotes higher education by providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are in the pursuit of post secondary education. It is the club’s way of giving back to skaters for their years of hard work, dedication, skating and scholastic achievement. Each skater will receive his/her scholarships at their high school commencement. During its 13 years of programming the club will be presenting its 9th scholarship.
