They may not have known why they were sent to school in green, but student at the St. Regis Mohawk Early Childhood Development Program (Head Start) learned all about St. Patrick’s Day Tuesday.
Different classrooms had different activities and the assortment of Irish spirit found throughout the school was amusing, from green hair to green faces. Children proudly showed what green items they were wearing and some even had the chance to make St. Patrick’s Day-themed crafts, like paper bag shirts with little leprechaun bodies glued on.
