North Franklin Sports Conducting Youth Lacrosse Clinic

Akwesasne, New York — The North Franklin Sports Program is getting ready for another season of spring sports by conducting registration and hosting a Youth Lacrosse Clinic from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, March 28th and Saturday, April 4th. The clinic is being coordinated by organizers of North Franklin Youth Lacrosse and registration will be held at the Salmon River Central School’s Arena Lobby. There is a $15 fee to participate, but it is FREE for players that register for the upcoming season with North Franklin Youth Lacrosse.

Players will be separated by grade level to receive coaching and run personalized drills. Instructors will help experienced players to brush up, and beginners just learning the game to learn new skills, in advance of the coming field lacrosse season. Young players will get training in basic lacrosse maneuvers, such as catching and throwing, as well as various techniques to improve their offensive and defensive skills.

The Lacrosse Clinic will be conducted in the Arena’s Gymnasium on March

28th and April 4th. To participate, players must register to play North

Franklin Youth Lacrosse or paid the clinic fee of $15. Players must bring

a stick and wear sneakers to their group’s designated time on either date:

Kindergarten 10am to 11am

1st & 2nd Grade 11am to 12:30pm

3rd & 4th Grade 12:30pm to 2pm

5th & 6th Grade 2pm to 4pm

North Franklin organizers will be at the Arena Lobby during clinic hours for parents to register players for lacrosse or other spring sports. The season registration fee for lacrosse is $45 and players are encouraged to register early, as numbers will determine how many teams and coaches will be needed before practices can begin. Volunteers are also needed to help coach and assistant the teams during the lacrosse season.
