A Voice from the Eastern Door
On January 20th, 2009, Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service officers were on patrol in Snye, Quebec. Brandon John Cook, 24 years of age, was arrested on an outstanding Warrant. Cook was transported to Valleyfield Provincial Court to appear at a Bail Hearing. Cook has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences: Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Refuse Breath Demand, and Breach of an Undertaking.
On January 21st, 2009, Canada Border Services Agency requested the assistance of the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service. CBSA advised that they had detained a male who was “Failing to Comply with Conditions”.
Subject was arrested by an Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service officer and released for Cornwall Provincial Court on February 19th, 2009. Subject cannot be identified since he was a youth at the time of the original charge.
On January 24th, 2009, Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service conducted a Seatbelt/RIDE Check on Cornwall Island. Police executed an outstanding Warrant for the Arrest of Olivia Terrance, 24 years of age. Terrance was escorted to Valleyfield Provincial Court for a Bail Hearing on January 26th, 2009. Terrance has been charged with: Mischief Over $5000.00, Resist Police, and 2 counts of Breach of OIC Undertaking.
