Akwesasne hockey player Ted Cook Jr. #25 has been nominated for the Hobey Baker Award once again. The award is given to the best hockey player in college athletics, as decided by a combination of nominations and public voting.
Cook is a senior at Niagara University where he is majoring in criminal justice. He is a forward on the university’s Division I hockey team, the Purple Eagles.
The Hobey Baker Memorial Award is presented an NCAA hockey player who exhibits character on and off the ice and who contributes to the integrity of the team while displaying outstanding skills in all phases of the game.
Cook was also nominated for the award as a sophomore.
