Niawen

We wish to express our deepest gratitude for the flowers, food, cards of sympathy and memorials sent at the time of the loss of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Edward Smoke.  A special thanks to the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Ambulance Service for their gentle care and excellent service. We would also like to send a special thank you to the Ladies Auxiliary for coming out on Christmas-eve day to provide the funeral dinner.  Thank you to Leona Barnes, Aunt Tootsie and girls for ensuring that the meals in the evenings were provided.

Without everyone’s help, the loss of our husband, father and grandfather, would have been even more difficult to have handled during the Christmas season.  It has been a comfort to know so many people share our loss.
