To the community of Akwesasne:

We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts who showed us how much a community can mean to us at a time when we didn’t know how we would even make it to the next day. We want to express our gratitude for all that was done for us at the time of our son Louie’s death. We can never repay the kindness that was given to us. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to everyone who was there in our time of need whether it was by donating something or just there to lend a hand or a kind word.
