Wanted: Man Unlawfully at Large

Montréal, Thursday, October 30, 2008 – The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Correctional Service of Canada reach out to the public to help them find a man wanted under a Canada-wide arrest warrant for being unlawfully at large.   

Normand Héroux, 44, was serving a 4-year jail sentence for robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, forcible confinement, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a firearm or imitation firearm, disguise with intent and failure to comply with a probation order.  This wanted person has been unlawfully at large since 1997.         

The police invite citizens to contact the RCMP at 1 800 771-5401 or Info-Crime Québec at 1 800 711-1800 for any information on this person.  All tips will be kept confidential.
