Book: Untamed

Another stunning vampire novel, as it seems that this is the year for vampires. If you enjoy a funny vampire love/adventure story, this is for you. Kristen and P.C Cast are quickly becoming two of my favorite authors.

Zoey Redbird is back again for the fourth installment of the House of Night Novels. Zoey, the generously gifted fledgling vampire, has gotten herself into yet another bout of trouble. Her mentor and high priestess, or the principal of the House of Night, Neferet, has decided to wage a war against humans for supposedly killing 2 adult vampires. Zoey, on the other hand, has other theories. In the last few months, Zoey has caught Neferet doing some things that she shouldn’t, but who is going to believe a lowly fledgling over a powerful high priestess? It’s up to Zoey and her band of friends to try and save the humans as well as the vampires. Talk about pressure. It doesn’t help that Zoey also has boy troubles. 3 fold.

This series will keep you reading until the book is done. The Cast duo of mother and daughter creates a funny and entertaining, yet suspenseful and nerve racking story of a very special girl, with problems nobody else can dream about. I recommend to young adults.
