Dr. Allan McLeod

Dr. Allan McLeod, age 87, of Cornwall, died peacefully at the Parisien Manor on Friday, October 24, 2008 years. Beloved husband of Betty (Sherman) McLeod. Loved father of Roderick McLeod (Claudette), Cornwall; Sharon Treacy (Kevin), Burlington; Jean McManus (John), Stittsville; Allan McLeod, Devon, Pennsylvania; Margaret Jowett (Doug), Delaware, Ontario; David McLeod (Carrie), Cornwall; and Peter McLeod (Heather) of Windsor. He will be sadly missed by his 20 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Bessie McDonell of Lancaster. He was predeceased by his parents Roderick and Margaret (Kennedy) McLeod; one sister Helen; and by 3 brothers John, Angus and Sam. He will also be missed by his dog Mac, a faithful companion.

He was waked at the Wilson Funeral Home until a Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell celebrated in St. Margaret of Scotland Roman Catholic Church, Glen Nevis on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Rite of committal followed in the parish cemetery.
