Philip Michael Jocko, age 58, of 30-A Jocko Road, Cornwall Island, died at his residence, with his family by his side, on Thursday, October 16, 2008.
Husband of Joyce (Edwards) Jocko. Dear father of Philip Jocko Jr. of Lake Placid, NY, Louis John Jocko of Baldwinsville, NY, Kelly Edwards (Jerry) of Onondaga, NY, Sarah Mary Jocko (Ed) of Cornwall Island, Cindy Square-Laughing (Matt) of Frogtown, NY, Dorothy Powless (Shawndar) of Lafayette, NY and Lisa Marie Jones of Fulton, NY.
Philip was predeceased by one son, Thomas Jocko. Dear son of the late Louis Jocko and the late Mary Thompson. Dear brother of Peter Jocko (Helene) of Cornwall, Dennis Jocko (Jean) of Cornwall Island, Dorothy Kennedy (Art) of Syracuse, NY and Wilma Angus (Paul) of Snye. Predeceased by three brothers, Albert, Norman and Angus Jocko and by one sister, Viola Jocko. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, John Lou.
Phillip will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was waked at the Thompson Memorial Wellness Centre, Island Road, Akwesasne from Sunday until a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Regis Parish Church, St. Regis on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Interment in the Jocko cemetery.
