Infant Christine Herne

Christine Marie Herne, infant daughter of Thomas E. Herne of Akwesasne and Tabitha C. Wood of Marstons Mills, Massachusetts, died October 18, 2008 at the Children’s Hospital of Boston where she had been a patient since October 15, 2008.

Christine was born August 25, 2008 in Hyannis, Massachusetts. She is survived by three half brothers; Austin Herne of Malone, NY, Curtis and Brennan Herne of Pennsylvania, by two half sisters; Alexis and Kamry Herne of Malone, NY, by paternal grandfather Thomas A. Herne, and

maternal grandparents Abby W. Burger and Rex Burger of Marstons Mills, Massachusetts, a paternal grandmother Cynthia T. Herne of Dansville, NY, by great grandparents Bessie and Kenneth Herne, by one uncle, Jonathan W. Herne and companion Jennifer Plumadore of Cornwall, Ontario, and by one Aunt, Evin Cunningham of Randolph, New Hampshire. She is also survived by several great aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by two uncles; Curtis and Kenneth Herne at birth.

Graveside services will be held at the Kateri Cemetery on St. Regis Road.

Funeral arrangements have yet to be finalized.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th  at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hogansburg, NY. Father Belgarde from the St. Regis Church will be performing the service.
