On Wednesday, October 15th, Tsi Snaihne School was fortunate to have some special visitors. Volunteers from the Hogansburg-Akwesasne Fire Department came to Tsi Snaihne to teach the students some important fire safety techniques. Students learned what to do in the event that their house caught on fire. The firefighters encouraged the students to have a family meeting to plan a safe meeting place outside their home. The students also had an opportunity to check out the fire engine and meet a firefighter dressed in all his firefighting gear.
