Book: Love the One You’re With

The book review this week is of an author that I’ve read numerous times and have really enjoyed her style and detail.

Love the One You’re With is about a woman who has to choose between the man who broke her heart and the man who patched her back up again. Ellen runs into her former boyfriend Leo in the streets of New York and is stopped cold. She is bombarded with old memories, some wonderful and others terrifyingly painful. Though Ellen has Andy, her husband of a year, she finds herself thinking about Leo more and more since they passed each other. She discovers that maybe the life she’s living isn’t for her, that maybe she’s losing who she is. She is plunged into a whirlwind of confusion, doubt, and self-discovery. Will she stay with her doting husband, or give Leo another chance?

I’d recommend this book to young adults and older. This book will make you think and will keep you reading until the very last word with a surprising ending. I hope readers will enjoy this book as much as I did.
