The children of the Early Childhood Development program participated in a mini Olympics for the last day of the program. The teachers came up with the idea just for a different end of the year activity. Each child decorated a t-shirt with the Olympic symbol (rings) on the back. The events were a water balloon toss, egg on a spoon race, 10-yard dash, long jump, walking backwards race and a Frisbee throw. The teachers had lots of fun watching the children and the children seemed to be having a great time also. They kept wanting to race again. Each child received a certificate, a medal and first place blue ribbon because they are all winners! Your teachers will miss all of you.
