The team travelled to Whitby for the tournament.
Akwesasne Storm Tyke Lacrosse team traveled to Whitby, Ontario for the Provincials tournament.
On Sunday August 3rd, Akwesasne Tyke beat Brantford 9-2. That afternoon, Akwesasne played Guelph, upsetting them 13-0. On Monday August 4th, Akwesasne played Whitby in a hard fought game that ended in a 7-7 tie. On Tuesday August 5th, Akwesasne Tykes played in the Quarterfinals against Mimico. They played their hearts out to earn a 10-9 overtime win. To advance on in the afternoon, Akwesasne played the Semi Final game against Huntsville and they were defeated 9-2.
Goal scorers for the tournament were: Kainen Francis-Thompson with 13 goals, Gage King-Gorman with 10 goals, Jay Chubb with 9 goals, Rowisonkies Barnes with 5 goals, and single goals for the tournament were made by Terrell Thomas, Memphis Mitchell and Trevan David.
