Kanenhi:io Ionkwaienthon:Hakie (We Are Planting Good Seeds) would like to say nia:wen to the group of St. Lawrence students who came with Brenda Papineau on Saturday July 12th to help us weed the community garden in front of the greenhouse on Rt 37. We would also like to say a great big nia:wen to the kids from the IPP program who came on Thursday July 12th to also help weed and pick up some of the rocks out of the garden. All your efforts are greatly appreciated! Kanenhiio is a group of Onkwehonwe dedicated to preserving our culture and restoringa healthy way of life through a collaborative effort of farmers, educators, healers, youth, elders, activists and spiritualists. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month.
