The family of Tracy “Bird” Adams would like to express their deepest appreciation to each and every person whom extended their heartfelt condolences to our family during our loss. We are completely overwhelmed with the support and love that our family and friends have shown us in this past month. When your eyes, ears and throat are covered with the dust of death it is very difficult for a family to perform their daily routine let alone be expected to make funeral arrangements. But it is because of the support that was bestowed upon our family that we were able to complete the most arduous task of our lives. There are no words that can express how truly grateful we are to you for continually giving yourself to help our family during our time of need.

Special acknowledgement needs to be made to everyone who has assisted us by donating food and paper products, taking the time to serve refreshments throughout the wake, helped to cook a delicious funeral meal, purchased flowers and a memorial tree and/or may have sat with us and held our hands to ease some of our pain. Thank you to all the firemen whom paid tribute to Tracy and to all the singers who honored him with their gracious and uplifting voices. Thank you to the Snye Recreation for their continuous efforts in ensuring that our needs were met. We can assure you that each gift was acknowledged and appreciated by all of us.

Now, to the pallbearers and honorary pallbearers, we send our deepest gratitude to each one of you. Everyone that was selected has played an integral part in Bird’s life and will always be remembered for this fact. To his friends that shared many memorable moments with him, some of you were there for his entire life and others have come in during the latter part of his life but the one thing you all have in common is that you never left once you came in. To his cousins that shared their own version of the “Bird” stories, we thank you very much for amusing us and sharing your laughter and memories with our family.

If we have forgotten to mention anyone, please forgive us, that is not our intention. We send our deepest appreciation to everyone that reached out and comforted our family throughout this time of sorrow.
