ACFS hosts Trivia Night for Abe Francis

Staff members from the Akwesasne Child and Family Services hosted a trivia contest Thursday evening at the Brass Horse Restaurant.

The event was held to raise money for Abe Francis, who will be traveling to two youth leadership conferences this summer. One requires him to travel to Los Angeles; the other to Washington D.C.

Questions ranged in subject from riddles to music and at the end of four rounds, Team ASIA (Ashley Tarbell, Shannon Burns, Ietsi Skidders and Angie Swamp) was in first place. The team answered the final question correctly and won the contest. Each team member was given a gift certificate to Chiefs.

Raffles were held throughout the event to raise additional funds for Francis.
